This life-sized sculpture was created for the NC History Musuem's 2006 Mannequin Ball. It was auctioned off at the ball, and the proceeds were donated to the Textile Department.
Titled "Annie," this piece is dedicated to the generations of wokers upon whose shoulders our nation was built. Some were native North Carolinians working in the cotton mills of the piedmont, but others were immigrants working in the sweat shops of New York City.
